September 17 - Constitution Day
Benjamin Franklin will be on campus to talk about his life and his role in the writing of the Constitution. Show starts 12:15pm in the student union.
September 26 - X Box Game Zone
X Box, Play station and more on large screens in the student union from 10:00am-3:00pm.
October 1 - Rock The Vote
Syrus (MTV) will be in the student union at 12:15pm to share his view on voting. Autographs and photos will follow.
October 4 - The Big Read
Get involved, win prizes. Be a part of it by reading, “To Kill A Mockingbird”. SCC is sponsoring the kick off for this United Way program at 7pm in the theater.
October 9 - Blood Drive
Donate blood to the Red Cross from 10am-3pm in the student union.
October 9, 10, 16 & 17 - Soul Line Dancing
Join the dancing; learn new steps with Paula of Soul Line Dance Health & Fitness. Classes/dancing will begin at 12:00 pm in the theater
October 12 - Delaware Art Museum
View the galleries, exhibitions and collections. Walk through the outdoor sculpture garden and the labyrinth. See the Persian window of a world-renown flameworker. Bus leaves SCC at 9am. Cost is $5. See Sandy in Student Services for tickets.
October 22 - Save A Life Tour
Drinking and driving is never safe. Experience the drunk driving simulator: begin driving sober and slowly feel the effects of alcohol as you try to drive safely. Watch as your friends try to avoid an accident. Co-sponsored by the Salem County Municipal Alliance, the activity will run from noon-4pm in the field house.

November 5 - Funny T’s & Photos
Get a photo with your chosen background and put it on a t-shirt. Free t’s will be made from 9:30am-3:30pm in the student union.
November 8 - NEW YORK CITY & Montel Williams
The charter bus leaves SCC at 8:30am for NYC. Have time on your own after being part of the audience at a taping of the Montel Williams Show. Tickets are limited. $25 cost is due at time of reservations.
November 12 - 16 - Academic Excellence Week
Watch for daily activities for students who are striving for academic success. Unsung Heroes will be honored again.
November 14 - South Jersey Ghost Researchers
These volunteers will be in the student union to explain their work and report on their findings on campus. Lecture and display begins at 7pm in the union.
November 15 - SCC Veterans’ Day
SCC veterans will be invited to participate in a program to honor service to our country.
December 7 - “VOICES OF CHRISTMAS” at the Living Waters Theater
The charter bus will leave SCC at 11am for an afternoon show in Lancaster County, PA. Tickets are limited and $25 cost is due at time of reservations.
Student Planning Board is looking for a few active students to help plan, promote, and attend activities. Active members are eligible for free trips and meals during performances. See Sandy in Student Services.
The Admissions Office is looking for students interested in becoming Campus Tour Guides. If you would like to talk to visitors and potential students and give them a tour of the campus, please contact Sandy in Student Services. Hours are flexible.
Watch for dates and times when SCC cleans Hollywood Avenue as volunteers in the Adopt A Highway program.

All students must have a valid SCC photo ID and parking permits. Be sure to get a new ID in the student activities office in the student union at posted times.
