Position Title: Learning Coaches - Part Time Grant Funded
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in counselling, student personnel, developmental education and adult education or closely related field.
Experience: Three (3) years professional experience advising/counselling students .
Skills/Abilities:
- Working with diverse student populations, preferably the community college level.
- Knowledge of the current literature and research on developmental education.
Responsibilities of the Position:
- Coordinate support for an assigned caseload of first year developmental students.
- Interface and monitor first year developmental students' participation in student support services.
- Teach section of student success course.
- Assist students in developing and assessing their individual educational plans.
- Assist students in identifying and utilizing appropriate student support services and resources.
- Other duties as assigned.
