Graduation Requirements
To fulfill graduation requirements, students do the following:
- Complete all specified curriculum requirements. All students, regardless of degree area, are required to complete SCC’s general education requirements, which include one or more courses in mathematics, English, humanities, social science and sciences.
- Achieve a final cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher in required courses.
- Fulfill all departmental and/or program requirements as designated by the faculty or state and communicated to students prior to enrollment in a program.
- Pay the required graduation fee and meet all other financial obligations to SCC.
- File an application for graduation with the Vice President of Student Services at the beginning of the semester in which they are graduating.
Multiple Degrees
Students seeking to earn more than one associate degree at Salem Community College must:
- Meet all program requirements for each degree.
- Meet general education requirements for each degree.
- Complete a minimum of 15 separate credits in major courses for each degree.
