Student Complaints/Conflict Resolution
Students who experience a conflict (e.g. grading, classroom issue, etc.) should attempt to resolve the issue in the following manner:
Pick up a Student Conflict Resolution Form available in the Academic Affairs Office or Student Services.
Make an appointment to discuss and resolve the issue with the faculty member involved.
If the matter is still unresolved, make an appointment with the Coordinator of Academic Standing (or Director of Nursing if the matter is nursing related) and discuss all evidence related to the unresolved issue. A completed Conflict Resolution Form documenting the previous discussion with the faculty member is required.
Follow all the steps of that process.
Final conflict appeals/decisions rest with the Provost – Chief Academic Officer
